Inkscape is a free, open-source program that allows users to create and edit vector graphics. It's used for a variety of purposes. We are using it at Tanio Bermo for designs for the Laser cutter and Silhouette cutter (for vinyl, card and paper).
Inkscape's main file format is Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), which can also be used to create files to 3D print. Inkscape can also open and save other file formats, including PDF, JPG, GIF, PNG, and more.
The software is free to download and install from the Inkscape website: https://inkscape.org/
